I'll describe the issue here, please let me know if you need more information from me.

I'm running smplayer with the mpv backend on lubuntu 18.04.2 LTS.

I'm using smplayer version 19.5.0-1~bionic1 from http://ppa.launchpad.net/rvm/smplayer/ubuntu bionic/main amd64 Packages

mpv version 2:0.29.1+git5~bionic1 from http://ppa.launchpad.net/mc3man/mpv-tests/ubuntu bionic/main amd64 Packages

I have smplayer in compact mode, so that the control bar and main toolbar are hidden.

When, while playing the video in window mode, I press the `f` key, the video goes to fullscreen. When I press `f` again to exit fullscreen mode, it does not revert back to the original window size. Instead, it leaves the video in fullscreen size, but displays the title bar on top, effectively moving the window down a little, but otherwise not resizing it. It puts it in a window the same size as the fullscreen.

If the video is paused it revert back to the original size without problem.

If the control bar and main toolbar are visible (compact mode is disabled), it reverts back to the original size without problem.

So it only happens if the video is playing in compact mode while I resize it. Either pausing it or exiting compact mode will let me revert from fullscreen properly.
