Feature Suggestion - Subtitle Regex

Not sure if it's currently possible (since I realize SMPlayer is just a front end for MPlayer), but a feature I think would be great to have would be regex find/replace on subtitle text. A couple of shows with subtitles that I'm currently watching have iffy name translations, so being able to specify a find/replace filter to correct this automatically without having to extract and manually change the subtitle file would be a great help.
