SMPlayer Support Forum

The SMPlayer will not prompt to input password. For example, Opening a file using the smb:// protocol. You need to manually put the password unto the URL to have it working and this is bad because the password will be compromise. That will loss the meaning of password.

Does the SMPlayer have this or this a matter for mplayer? I really like to have this kind of feature in SMPlayer.
