Hi, I am trying out vlc 3.0.0 rc3 on 360 degree videos. For Youtube streams I found that if I use vlc through smtube (as one of the players) for these streams, 360 degree videos don't work, but if I copy the URL of the video and paste it in vlc Media > Open Location from Clipboard > Play then they work. e.g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6SsB3JYqQg

OS is Ubuntu 16.04, smtube installed from the smplayer ppa
