Hi Everybody.
I am an ex-windows user who used to use VPlayer in his Windows 2000 Pro days. As far as I remember there was this option built in to shutdown computer after it finished playing the video.
You could right click on the video during playback and tick "Shutdown when finished." option in the right click menu and after video has finished playing the computer would poweroff giving You an option of canceling for 90 seconds before doing so.
Nowadays I am a PCLinuxOS 2010 user (we have SMPlayer added to our LiveCD as a default media player...) and I am curious is it possible to add this feature to future releases of SMPlayer? Would be great! Sometimes I would play DVD before going to bed (and I know I wont last the entire movie) so I would prefer for my old lappy to shutdown after finishing playback rather then was rambling entire night till I will get to it in the morning.
I am sorry if this was asked before. I could find nothing. Thanks in advance, Keep up to awesome work guys.
Andy
EDIT: BTW since I didn't wanted to cause a stir with PCLinuxOS users registering on this forum just to +1 this suggestion I have created a thread on the PCLinuxOS Forum and my colleagues can add their votes in there without creating a mess.
Here is the link to the thread.
