HIGH RESOLUTION VIDEO LAGGING

I run a 64 bit version of smplayer 14.9.0. I cannot play high resolution videos eg brip. It lags like hell that there is no sync between audio and video. And sometime the audio simply repeats itself since the video is far behind. And the other thing is that I was not able to seek through the timeline while playing some video. I tried installing the same version of it in other powerful systems and found the same problems persisting. Please help me out from this.

Please send the mplayer log (options - > view logs) after playing a lagging video.
