"Basic GUI" + "windows classic theme" ~ trouble

With "Basic GUI" and playlist enabled and inside the SMPlayer window, the bottom part of the playlist are covering part of the controls below (play/pause, stop, volume, etc.).

There is a resize bar at the bottom of the playlist.
If you hover the play/pause and other buttons you see how the buttons are not above resize bar.
And if you hover right above the volume and move the cursor down, the cursor keeps showing a vertical resize cursor, even when you move the cursor down and adjust the volume.

This happens with Windows 7 classic theme.

But what are the resize bar at the bottom of the playlist for anyway ?
I cant resize with it, so maybe it should be removed ?
