SMP ver 14.9.0.6966-1.1-x86_64 Not Skinable

Hello,
with this last update to SMPlayer 14.9.0.6966-1.1-x86_64 on openSuSE 13,1.x and KDE 4.14.x using the packman repo for suse 13
i lost the ability to choose 'skinnable' interface.
the 'new' default skin is,,, well not nice.
I downgraded to 14.9.0.6887-1.1... and am able to choose skinnable / black (GTK+ theme)

Maybe you need to install the package smplayer-skins.

thanks for your suggestion, but...

When I updated 14.9, smplayer-skins 15.2.0-1.1 was and is still installed.
It is working fine with SMP 14.9.0.6887-x, but did not work with 14.9.0.6966-x

any other ideas?

what ever the issue, it seems to have been resolved.
I just used zypper up to update my system w/o excluding SMPlayer.
I started SMP by clicking on media file, as i normally do and it has the 'black' skin as it should.
I looked at help > about and 14.9.x is running...

it's odd.
newly installed update is exactly the same sub version number, 14.9.0.6966-1.1
No minor version change eg, 6966-1.2 so I don't know why it is now working.
