Using Ctrl+U i have to press Enter twice

When have a URL in clipboard and press Ctrl+U the URL is inserted automatic.
But i have to press Enter two times to load the video.
First all the text is selected and when i press Enter the cursor moves to the end of the text for som reason.
Then i have to press Enter again to load the URL.

I would like only having to press Enter once.
