i can see video in new version. error or bug?

HI everyone:

I have a problem with the latest version in my case in Ubuntu 14.04 Lts. I can't see videos (films, dramas etc)

My version is:17.12.0-1 TRUSTY1INSTALLED THURSDAY

Versión: 17.12.0 (revisión 8844)
Usando Qt 4.8.6 (compilado con Qt 4.8.6)
Usando MPlayer2 2.0-701-gd4c5b7f-2ubuntu2

And the error is next:

In this case is with film animation Rio, but with spanish audio, without subs. But in try with other films or dramas with subs, and the result is the same.

Finally the route:

/usr/bin/mplayer

And is the same all time in my others two ubuntu, and never have a problem.

Any easy solution, this is the best reproductor of video for me.

mplayer2 si obsolete and it doesn't have the progbar-align option.
Edit smplayer.ini, look for osd_bar_pos and set it to -1.

Thanks for all rvm. I change to -1, and i can see all another time. My next question is: I will have any problem, with next update of program. Because, i have the in my updates the launchpad in other for Ubuntu 14.04. and i don know if is neccesary change, these launchpad. In other words, redownload the version or future version.

It's possible you may have problems again in the future because you're using mplayer2 which is obsolete. I don't test smplayer anymore with mplayer2, so things may not work when using that player.

I suggest to install mplayer or mpv instead.
