Unmute with mouse (skinnable gui)

How do I unmute by using only the mouse when Skinnable GUI is in charge?

Click on the speaker icon to the left of the volume slider.

Clicking it once sets the volume to 0. Clicking it againg does nothing. I was expecting it to unmute the sound, i.e. to restore the volume to the level before it was muted.
I am experiencing this only with the Skinnable GUI. The other 3 engines are working as expected in this regard.

You can assign any of the mouse buttons to the "mute" action in preferences -> keyboard and mouse -> mouse.
