change render, add external filter, splitter ?

Hi,

i am looking for a fast stable media player. I tried before
kmplayer
potplayer
gomplayer
vlc
media player classic cinema hd

Now i want to test smplayer but i can not find how to change or vies the render settings. Further how to add new codecs, filters, splitterts to smplayer.

SMPlayer uses MPlayer as its backend. MPlayer uses internal codecs and internal filters. No need to use any external libraries. You can try different output drivers in "Preferences > General > Video > Output driver". To update the internal codecs and filters you can simply update . I'm sure redxii has some install scripts for Windows users.
