How remove Subtites Off Subtitles Disabled OSD

Please could someone help me to disable this onscreen display message that pops up at the beginning of every video I play?

It shows Subtitle Off then Subtitles Disabled in the top left of the screen for about 3 seconds. I changed the size down to 1 in Preferences/Subtitles/Font and Colors but is there a way to remove it completely as I cant find a setting for it anywhere?

Any help would be most appreciated.
