frames get skipped

Hi
why i have a slow frame rate and/or some frames get skipped when watching videos?
do you have suggestions how to overcome this?
i'm using xv as output
i used in the past vdpau but it wasnt so better
i tried to set it to use 2 threads (i have a core2dou cpu)
i even tried to set 50mb cache :roll:
any suggestions?

I think the log doesn't show any problem.

Anyway, try to disable the option "Allow frame drop" in preferences -> performance.
