Why separate pause and play buttons?!

Yes, there's a play/pause button. You can add it with the toobar editor.

OK, but it's on the top. I need it on the lower panel just beside the short jump button. How can I put this one button in place of those two separate buttons?

Right click on a toolbar and select "edit control bar".
