I've just rewritten (r4919) the youtube code. Now it's simpler and clearer, and hopefully the next time youtube changes anything it would be easier to fix.

Could smtube be made to look for and use its ini file in the app folder FIRST, before writing/using it in .smtube in the user directory? That way the same smtube could be used for both the portable and installed versions.

Hello Guest,
To choose the download folder;
Open the YouTube browser.
At the bottom of the GUI choose the screwdriver icon.
The settings menu will open.
Choose the blue icon at the and of the “Save to this folder” text,
and use the folder tree to choose the download folder.
A near example can be found at You Tube, about: 00:35;
