playback freezing in long use!!

I think I can't reproduce the problem. With some videos there are freezes all the time, from the very beginning, while others play fine all the time. I guess this probably has to do with the host server of the video. Do you have the same problem with long youtube videos?

I've just chosen a random movie from that site and it plays fine in my computer, no freezes.

I'll try to play a movie from that site from time to time and see if I can see the problem. But if I can't reproduce consistently the problem I won't be able to fix it.

So far I think this is more a problem of the video servers. Those servers don't have the same infraestructure as, for example, youtube or netflix, so freezing is not unusual. And actually that site (vmovee) already warns users that freezes may happen ("Pause the video for 1-3 minute(s) if it buffers/freeze").

I think experience the same problem or very similar. It will be hard to reproduce, but I will explain in short. I own a version of Modecom Micro PC, that in fact is a IntelStick: Atom Z3735F. It is not quite powerful, but is is enough to replace almost any "smart TV" CPU. So it is attached directly to TV and I use it as media center powered by SMPlayer on Windows 10 Home. Till to version 18.1.0 it was OK. Starting wIth 18.2 and 18.3.0 the problem is easily visible. I use CoreTemp software to monitor the device. It is totally fan less and tend to overheat. On exactly the same movie, on exactly the same offset in the movie, version 18.1.0 give consumption of 0.6W. Newer versions give 1.1 - 1.2W. Slowly the temperature of the chip rise and rise. There is no fan, so the device just throttle the CPU on temperature above 80C (max is 90 - shutdown). So that is the explanation. You need a less powerful computer and good CPU/Temp/Power Consumption monitor. Something was changed with these versions. Can be that there is a setting that can be tuned, but I was not able to find it.
