There's actually something strange in the log, smplayer fails to recognize the video as a local file and tries to play it as a stream. But anyway I can't see in the log that it skips any other file.

Is this file "بسيط.mp4" the file you want to play but gets skipped or the file that plays when another file is skipped?

I think the log doesn't show any attempt to open another file. You said you tried to open it by double clicking on the video, does it play of you open it by using the option File -> Open in the smplayer menu?

choosing file then open instead of double clicking the file worked but ofcourse this is unconvenient ...

Now i am confused even more :geek:

i must mention that if i remove the file that plays instead of the intended one smplayer chooses another file from the folder but there is an order if file b is there it always plays instead of file A but if i delete b the file c plays when double clicking A there is an order to that

When you double click on a file in the Windows explorer, Windows passes the filename to smplayer. Maybe somehow Windows is passing the wrong filename.

To be sure that the smplayer playlist is not interfiring, go to preferences -> playlist and uncheck the option "add files to the playlist automatically". Then open the playlist (menu View) and if there are items in the playlist, clear the playlist (remove button -> remove all). Then try to play the file again. What happens?

Since there's no mention to any other video in the log, I think that somehow Windows is passing the wrong filename to smplayer.

I don't know, it's very strange.
Could you tell me the name of the file you try to open? Maybe if I can reproduce the problem in my computer I could find a fix.
