SMP opens 2 windows

Hi there, I just installed SMP and whenever I open a video with it, it opens it in a separate window. I tried to check and uncheck "Execute SMP/SVP in a new window" but it doesn't solve the issue, the only thing that changes is that with it unticket the main windows is big, while with it ticket it becomes of minimum size without the black space.

Go to preferences -> general -> video and select a different video output.

Not even "x11"?
Be sure the option to run mplayer/mpv in its own window is not checked.

Do you have tearing with the other video outputs as well or just with x11?
