Am able to set the A and B markers and turn on Repeat, but the loop does not start. Video just keeps on playing normally.

Hi. I have the same version of SMPlayer (64 bit, Windows 10) and it works for me. Tested on youtube videos almost every day. Unfortunately I can't suggest any solution. Did you try an uninstall and re-install?
