Same title in playlist + NO previous size window interface
Posted: Fri Nov 30, 2018 8:56 amI have update my old version of SMPlayer and testing this new version i have discovered BUGS.
SMPlayer 18.10.0 (rev.9144) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 7 x 64 Ultimate
1st BUG
When i click on a file into a directory to play it, SMPlayer correctly load it in the playlist, (as i want) with
all list of files of that directory, but if files are NOT stored into directory, but into the root of DRIVE (F:\ ... G:\...)
and i click on a file, SMPLAYER start to play it, but in the list the title is showed 2 times:
1st position= (beginning list) and
2nd position= alphabetical order position of movie title
Same title in the list that i cliccked on start.

2nd BUG
If i play Music (window video is setted to hide in my case) and then i click on file video
the size of window interface has not the last size when i have played before, but it is setted to original video size also if
"Rember size and position" flag is setted to active.
Previously size is not respected if user choose to play video movie after listen mp3 music before.

Improvement
In my opinion is a good idea to Improve the program with a different focus on PlayList Window.
When i show on screen the playlist window is in my opinion useful to ACTIVATE FOCUS over title text
because in that moment is active PlayList Window, and NOT maintain, as now, focus on action
"Volume" and "TimeSlider" that is in background.
In this mode user can directly do two important things:
- Immediately scroll list using arrows as Playlist is on screen, (now is not possible), and pressing ENTER when he has choosed title, whithout use of mouse
- Digit first title characters "key-search" to jump on file that satisy the string-filter (if present into list),
without use mouse and do these steps : 1) pressing "search" + 2) click with mouse text area to enable input text + 3) type text title to found movie
In this case all files are always visible, but focus directly jump to file that satisfy key-string and it is colorized.
User may only press ENTER to play movie found.
