smplayer stops and starts

Hi today the SMPlayer has played some files and then not [played some files that it played prior. There are some files that just don't open. I'm using a HP g42-474 notebook with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. Also the version of SMPlayer is, 0.6.9(svn r3447) using Qt 4.5.1 compiled with Qt 4.5.1 MSP svn r3069. I hope that made sense. I have attached as U can see a log report.

By the way this is an excellent player. I have of course the Windows Media Player and VLC Player and have tinkered with the KMP Player, the three of them cannot play anywhere near some of my files that the SMPlayer has managed to play. So a BIG thank U.

I've recently experienced a similar problem with some of my mp4 files (H264 encodings in mp4 containers). They'll play properly once and then after that I only get audio and no video.

I worked around the issue by running the files through Avidemux (I'm running Linux Mint Debian Edition for my OS) with it set to "copy" for both the video and the audio, but changing the container to mkv. Also Avidemux popped up a warning about the way B-frames were handled in the file, so I clicked on the "safe-mode" button. So I also changed the B-frame handling in the files. Anyway the new files seem to be working properly for now.
