No DTS/AC3 Passthrough

Since I have updated to version 19, SMPlayer will not passthrough DTS, etc to my nVidia GTX1050 Ti and on to my multimedia amp.Of course, I have checked that the passthrough for AC3/DTS has been ticked.
I have tried completely uninstalling SMPlayer, making sure all SMPlayer registry entires and folders have been removed and re-booting the computer. I then re-installed from a clean install but still have the same problem.
I know this is an SMPlayer problem because if I use MPC-HC there is no problem. I would rather use SMPlayer as the picsture is better than MPC-HC.
Anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

Yes. As I said "Since I have updated to version 19, SMPlayer will not passthrough DTS". It worked with the last version.
Sound does come through but now reported as just stereo PCM by the media amplifier. All works OK with MPC-HC but not SMPlayer.

That's weird because I think I didn't change anything about DTS/AC3 Passthrough from previous version.

I have even unistalled version 19 and re-installed version 18 and still now there is now ac3/DTS passtrough working. I get sound but only PCM stereo.
As soon as I play a movie with MPC-HC DOlby Atmos and all ohter DTS get passed through to my multimedia amplifier so it canno be my nVidia 1050Ti.
I have also tried Kodi and that works as well.
Logically therefore it HAS to be a prblem with SMPlayer. For me SMPlayer gives the best video but it looks like I have to use MPC-HC as I have no chice.
CAN ANYONE OFFER ANY CONSTRUCTIVE SOLUTION?????????

It would be very useful if you could tell me exactly the version where this option stopped working. You can find all older versions here:

Also tell me if you're using the 32 or the 64 bit version. And if you're using mpv or mplayer as multimedia engine (you can see this in the menu help -> about).

Yep still does not work in Version: 19.5.0 (revision 9214) (64-bit) unchecked AC3/DTS passthrough and at lease I have sound now.
