smplayer -send-action issues on Linux.

Hi!
If another instance of smplayer is running, the "-send-action" option seems to work fine.
However, if no smplayer is running, a new instance is started and no action is performed.
Is it possible to implement -send-action so that it would not start a new instance?
Thanks!
