Floating Control gets disabled

I have been evaluating SMPlayer for only a few days, on Win7.64bit dual monitor (laptop + ext). At times I noticed that what is called "floating control" at the bottom of the screen goes away and cannot be reactivated. After some testing I determined that it happens when in full-screen. I only use the app on display:0 which is the laptop itself. And I only use full-screen, except for testing. I've tried toggling full-screen but also double-clicking the titlebar which should engage full-screen as well. Nothing re-enables the floating control. Theme options are as default by installing - Skinnable GUI -> Gonzo -> Fusion. I have tried others but found them to have some drawing issues and generally not acceptable. All other options are the defaults when installing.

Overall I like SMPlayer better than VLCPlayer. But there are a few UI issues that I can't seem to figure out, some I have posted here but still await any input from the community. I hope that I can learn enough to resolve these issues and migrate my use to SMPlayer completely.

THANK YOU in advance for any assistance - and THANK YOU to the dev team for their efforts in producing this great product.

I'll try to look at it, but I never experienced this issue.

I've done some additional testing and with a single display system (I used a VM with Win7.32 to test) I could not replicate the behavior.

Please don't waste your time on this - I would guess this is just something about my environment/configuration that is at the root of it. I definitely do NOT have a typical computing environment here, even for a software engineer. I only reported this in case it was an issue for others - and if you might need some confirmation about the matter. But if you haven't had other reports - please just file it away for possible later use.

Thanks for your replies/info - I really like the work that's been done here - and despite even paying for two other apps, after much testing, I am settling on SMPlayer.
Cheers!

Well for what it's worth - I've figured out that the problem exists because the floating toolbar loses it's "z position" on a dual monitor system and the "video output window" becomes the "top-most" window. When watching a video that is wide-screen, it's aspect ratio means the video covers the ENTIRE physical display. Thus, you cannot see that the floating toolbar -IS- being displayed but it is BEHIND the video window. I noticed it by watching an old tv show video which is not widescreen (I am not quoting the aspect ratio because I can't recall exactly which one it was). This happens only when I have the app running a long time with many videos loaded/played - but if I exit the app frequently, I have not seen it.

Hope this helps.

Does it still happen if you select a different video output? (preferences -> general -> video)
