SMPlayer Support Forum

Hi, Im new to SMplayer and to the forum and i have a slight problem. I'm using SMplayer exclusively to watch my m3u playlists containing 15-30 channels.

After loading the playlist and watching a channel for a few minutes, the player suddenly and unexpectedly jumps to the very next channel by itself. Is there a setting to disable that? I want to be able to watch a channel for more than just a few minutes without it jumping to the next channel. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Turn on the repeat option in the Play -> A-B section menu.

Many playlists which you can find online have this problem. If possible try to find a list with channels in m3u8 format, instead of ts.
