Bug with "Send video to screen" and 2nd monitor turn off/on

Postby Xenos » Tue Sep 24, 2019 10:06 am

Hi,

I have a dual display system, I have added the "Send video to screen" button on the main toolbar and I have also created two shortcuts:
Ctrl + F1 : send to screen 1 and Ctrl + F2 : send to screen 2

While watching a video, I paused it for a few nimutes. During that time, my second monitor (where I watch the fullscreen) went to stand by mode and turned off temporarily.
It seems that SMPlayer doesn't handle the turning off of the second monitor properly.
The video doesn't come back to the main player on the primary monitor, although it's the only one turned on. Even when I turn the second monitor back on, there is no video on fullscreen either. I have to go to the main toolbar, click the button "Send video to screen" and manually select display 2 to continue watching on fullscreen on the second monitor.

Another problem is that after the second monitor turns back on from standby mode, the two shortcuts I've created for "Send video to screen", don't work anymore. Only the button on the main toolbar works and I have to exit and restart the player to activate the shorcuts
again.

However, If I turn the second monitor off manually (power button) without pausing the video, then the video returns to the main player on the primary monitor and the playback continues normally.
The behaviour is slightly different if I pause the video first, and then turn the second monitor off. In that case, the video returns to the main player on the primary monitor, but it only shows a green image, and only when I hit "play" the green image disappears and playback continues normally.

Could you have a look at that?

Thanks in advance,
