It's because of an mpv update.

same to me, mpv 30 breaks smplayer one report here: https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5432

It works now after the update from rpmfusion repos that adds the fix, but I had to delete my SMPlayer config (~/.config/smplayer) for seeking to work correctly, for some reason. After configuring things again it works normally.

Stopped working for me too, deleting config file didn't fix it
