SMPlayer Support Forum

I have just installed SMplayer on my Linux machine and it looks good. I am a bit of a golfing nut and like play the swing frame by frame. I pause the video by pressing space bar then advance it frame by frame by pressing the dot . However, when I want to go back f by f when I checked in the play menu the option for that showing , is greyed out. Can you please help out. TIA

You need to change the "multimedia engine" to mpv in preferences -> general, since that option works only with mpv.

Be sure mpv is installed in your system.
