Smplaye file dialog

After installation we have "use the system native file dialog" enabled by default.
i tried disabling it and now i see a different window that i can customize creating something like a library

The only problem is that the window doesn't remember settings (size and position) like the system native does. is it possible to fix this? it could be very useful
