Using VLC-like settings for smplayer

Hi I am new to smplayer, I have just migrated from VLC player, while I have modified the settings to my own likings, is there a way to have a setting where if I press the space bar (that is currently set to play/pause), then it would show that I have either paused or played for a couple of seconds, like it did with VLC player?

And just like with VLC player, if I went forward or backwards it would show the current time location I am currently at for a few seconds, is this possible with smplayer?

One last thing, if I am going backwards or forwards it would show this bar where it will indicate where I am currently in the video, is there a way to disable this?
