"Automatic" Subtitle search issue

Greetings, while I read that Opensubtitles functionality was recently fixed and if I type in the filename by hand it returns results, searching the automatic search by hash/filename does not work, even when "only filename" option is selected. My stream URL is a direct link of the sheme: https://server1.prefix.domain.suffix/so ... 65.bla.mkv and if I copy just the filename as-is without shortening it it finds results perfectly.

If this cannot be easily fixed, could you make it autofill the filename for manual search?

Thanks for your hard work, this seems to be the best mvp GUI. Loving it!!!

EDIT: Subtitle save location defaults to "C:\Program Files\SMPlayer" which a non-superuser does not have write access to, even if you saved to some other location last time.
Could you please include the option to auto-download to a specified location?

The option to download subtitles doesn't actually support online streams. If you try to do it, weird things may happen.

I developed it. I think I never tested it with online streams. It may work, but it's by chance.
