Hey. The menu has 'Video> Rotate', but the items there are not active https://prnt.sc/sesm8c, and if you hang a rotation on a hot button, then nothing happens.
Although mpv has a console, the --video-rotate = <0-359 | no> option works.

Those options should be enabled when a video is playing.

This isn't supposed to happen. All those options should be enabled during playback. Please send the smplayer log (menu View) after playing a video.
