SMPlayer - Youtube playlists = "not found" error
Posted: Fri Feb 12, 2021 4:26 am
URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ALZrRD ... Szlsqd7kkv
Playlist: Age of Empires II: HD Edition - The Conquerors
by DeltronLive
Trying to open the Youtube playlist results in this error:
"Error transferring https://www.youtube.com/list_ajax?actio ... Szlsqd7kkv - server replied: Not Found"
Single videos work, for example if I copy & paste only
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ALZrRDSpVs
without the added
&list=PLlC8YfRpYfL29Fy7iBK46gaSzlsqd7kkv
and the entire URL of it (single video & list) works in the browser.
I tried to find a helpful solution - none found.
I tried to update SMPlayer - no change.
I tried to lookup a solution on the forum - search term ignored because it's too common.
The error message gives me nothing to work with and I'm blocked from receiving any solution or even getting a clue what is wrong where and why.
Edit:
If using the &index=NUMBER
for referring to a specific video within the playlist SMPlayer manages to play that single video within the playlist but fails to load the entire playlist, as well as failing at going through it video by video.
So:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ALZrRD ... kv&index=4
works to play the 4th video of the playlist and that alone.
