SMPlayer can't play DVD ISOs with Unicode names

dvd/dvdnav can't play ISOs with Unicode names. SMPlayer will play regular files with Unicode names (with the Pass Short Filenames option) but it won't play DVD ISOs with Unicode names. Any chance you could fix this? I'd really like to get rid of VLC player but this is the one thing that's stopping me from leaving VLC player. Thanks.

Now that SMPlayer is being actively developed again, can we please get this bug fixed?
