Problem with new mplayer build

Hi rvm, starting from this discussion on doom9 I've discovered that on my system (win xp sp3 + ati radeon 3870 cat 10.2) SMPlayer does not work whit new mplayer builds from , but there are no problems using the package from LoRd_MuldeR. Are you able to reproduce the bug?

The problem is that the mplayer\config included in that package enables the option msgcolor.
Ways to fix it:
edit mplayer\config and delete or coment the line that says msgcolor=yes
or just delete mplayer\config
or in smplayer add this to Preferences -> Advanced -> Options for mplayer: -nomsgcolor

I'm going to remove at all the patch and the support for color messages on win32, latest changes to mp_msg code broke my patch and I don't want to use it anymore

hello, there's another problem with new Sherpaya mplayer build 886-mt (x86), smplayer can't recognize version of this build as logs shows it as "MPlayer UNKNOWN-4.2.5 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team". Smplayer gives user chance to recognize it manually as mplayer 1.0 RC ... older or never but it doesn't help us at all
