I would like to have "Repeat" always enabled by default for all files I play.
Can you add this please?

The repeat option has recently changed and now it's not a global option, but you can simulate the old behavior by adding "repeat true" in preferences -> advanced -> actions to run when a file is opened.

I just downloaded 0.6.9+SVN-r3488 & while I see repeat is not checked, I see no other place to shut it off so when a video ends, it doesn't start again, i.e., repeat.
So, how do I make it when the video ends, it does just that, end?
Thanks.

You can use the "repeat" button in the playlist.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying & asking.
What I'm saying, it is unchecked & the file still repeats, which I do not want it to do.
Got a "hidden" command line to not repeat?
I don't see why anyone would want what just played to repeat anyway.
Thanks.

If the repeat option in the menus is unchecked and the file still repeats, maybe you have enabled the repeat button in the playlist.

I was looking for how to repeat videos by default... so, thanks for the *repeat true* reply.
Is there a listing somewhere, of what commands can be added?
Thanks again!
By the way, I love smplayer. Very basic player, but does everything needed without any hiccups, or bloat.
