[SOLVED]Reopening SMplayer - and no video
Posted: Fri Aug 06, 2010 9:18 am
I have 2 computers running ARCH (64 bit) at home with almost identical setups. Both use KDE with SMplayer as the default video player.
The problem is on my daughter's computer :
Clicking on a video file will open SMplayer running the video. So far so good. BUT ... once you close SMplayer and then click again on the file, now SMplayer will open again, but with NO video window - just a kind of "minimalized" SMplayer. Sound works just fine.
On my computer - everything is just right.
I've found out that by deleting the video's .ini file in "/home/USER/.config/smplayer/file_settings/", SMplayer will reopen OK. So I've looked for some meaningful change between the .ini files on mine and my daughter computers but they look the same.
Any idea will be appreciated.
Thanks
Ben
