Deinterlacing working when disabled?

Hi,

I'm using SMPlayer with VDPAU. I have all filters disabled and Deinterlacing set to "None", but I can see that deinterlacing gets toggled on and off when I press D while playing movies. How's that possible, and what kind of interlacing is this?

If you use vdpau, it enables a hardware deinterlacer, I think.

Preferences -> General -> Video. Select "user defined" as output driver and type something like "vdpau:sharpen=1".
