SMPlayer Support Forum

It seems when I OPEN a video file, SMPlayer is seen scanning my C:\Windows folder for files/fonts and therefore is slow to start. It does it every time so is there a way for it to find and save what it is looking for every time?

Is there a way to avoid this?

Go to Preferences
-> Advanced
-> Options for SMplayer
on Options type: -nofontconfig
