Howdy, i've rummaged as much as I can but it seems ALL the help is for people running linux OS variations.

I have the latest smplayer and I update it with the latest mplayer build from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mplayer-win32/files/

Trouble is since updating to that mplayer all screensaver options are ignored. It will still go to screensaver no matter what I have enabled in options. I tried to figure out how to implement the heartbeat command but no luck for me.

I'm not a huge computer buff, I just like my stuff to work and be updated. Can anyone solve my problem? If not i'll just go back to the mplayer build used in the original smplayer windows package.

Bump please!

Weirdly it can sometimes disable the screensaver for me now in windows but the power management stuff still turns off the monitor/notebook..

What should be the heartbeat-cmd for windows?! Please someone.. I searched for like 20 hours now..

Thanks!

I wasn't able to replicate it, but I used to have this problem at one time where the screensaver stayed off but the monitor still turned off. A driver (synaptics touchpad) was causing the problem, but yours could be anything else. That was a really long time ago though.
