SMPlayer Support Forum

I was wondering if there is any way I can force SMPlayer to include the name of the file into the screenshot, much like how MPC HC does it with "Save Image(auto)" etc.


On a side note: Is there any way I can get it to save as a JPG instead of a PNG? I've always just had to batch img process the PNG's into JPG's since they're 2mb+ which is "alot" for screenshots I rarely use.

Many people ask to include the filename and date in the screenshots' name, but implementing it in smplayer is not so easy as it may seem.

It would be better that this feature would be included in mplayer.
