Hello,

Startin today the smplayer uninstaller was flagged as virus by antivir and looking on multi-scanner by others too.

I submited a FP to antivir but I did that too for mplayer2 but took a lot untill unflagged.

It's a false positive. http://nsis.sourceforge.net/NSIS_False_Positives

Select AVs are overly zealous with NSIS files, such as AntiVir. Heur probably means heuristic, that means the AV thinks it's a virus and it doesn't match any known signatures. It's definitely a false positive and not a first for NSIS.

I knew it's a FP that's why I submitted a FP report to Avira.

The post was a request that others do the same so they and the others fix it faster. ;)

Cheers.
