Hello,

Just wanted to say that i'm glad to see people still actively developping smplayer, it's my default video player.
There's just one feature that is missing : TAG support in srt subtitles (that is why i keep Media Player Classic Home Cinema as a backup player). This player supports TAGs in srt subtitles ie it allows to modify the position of the subtitle, the color, ... with specific commands in the srt file (if no support, the commands ... are displayed as if it were part of the subs) and i'd love to see this feature in (s)mplayer as well :).

This kind of things have to be supported in mplayer. smplayer doesn't display subtitles on its own.

Anyway I think recent versions of mplayer already support tags in srt files, like <i></i> or <b></b>
