in linux xubuntu - the entire bottom controls froze!

Hi
why all the controls are froze?
i can't scroll
can't click play
nothing
i uninstalled it & reinstalled it
didn't helped

The mplayer included in ubuntu 11.10 contains a bug which may cause smplayer to freeze. Install smplayer 0.7.1, it has a workaround for it.
