I want uninstall the program, but I can't. It says that the programm is still running (it is not) or that I haven't the required access rights. What should I do?

You're using/used the installer from this site? There's no code to detect if SMPlayer is running in the uninstaller at least in the Windows package.

Also trying to uninstall the .exe file, but it won't let me. Any ideas why?

You can open the task manager and check the Processes.
If your program is still running then close it and uninstall.
