I think i tried all avaible media players on the market. I can say that smplaer is the fastest of them

Advanced: The output driver section is great. I can choose gl. I can play HD videos without any flattering, i have a non high configuration pc.
I cannot get the same result on the competitors software like kmplayer, daum pot player ( the best after smplayer ), media player classic, gom player. VLC

Advanced: Seeking, fast forward. It is the fastest, even on HD movies. In this case even daum pot player gives up.

Negative: It cannot play partial downloaded, damaged, corupted video files. In this case AL player, VLC, KMplayer and daum pot player are much better. I do not know why.

Suggestion: Daum pot player and KM Player have really very very niche option named OSD Info. By pressing TAB on daum pot player you can see input and output file information. So you can see the performance of playing and can chose which codec or configuration are the best. I hope smplayer team will do this in next update, it is really very very helpfull. I can test ech codec, filer... and see the performance result during playing the video file

thats all for now, i am still inspecting the 0.8 version

If R click SMP (0.8.0) display screen>Options>View Info & Properties, it gives much of same info available in VLC for the file playing. It's displayed a bit differently & maybe the info in SMP could be improved, or certain data added that currently aren't shown, but most of it's there.
