Lines on the screen while playing DVD

Hello,
When playing some DVD files there are small lines appear on the screen, especially in faster scenes. Like noise, or something. They go by enabling video - filters - autodetect phase, but then video gets kind of slow, and also you have to set this option for each file. Is there a setting to make video look better (smooth) by default? Again, other players show the video file without any lines...
