How to rip audio from a video or record an radio stream?

Hi folks,
I think I read in some articles that it's possible to rip audio from a video or to record a radio on my local harddisk. But I was not able to find this function in smplayer. Can anybody tell if smplayer has a stream rip feature or not?
And if it is existing, where is it located?
Or do I have the wrong edition installed?
I am running Version: 0.6.9 (SVN r3447) from packman on openSuse 11.1 under KDE 4.5.4
Thanx for answers
