mplayer.exe: "No disk"

I downloaded the latest mplayer build and when I run it I get this popup saying that there is no disk in the drive. Whats that all about. How do I stop it.

Try removing the period from the path.

You can try r35156 (
http://sourceforge.net/projects/smplaye ... z/download ) but I don't think there is anything wrong with the mplayer build.

I tried it on XP and it didnt do that. The problem was on Windows 7.

I had a removable drive on e: which mplayer was trying to read? Making that letter not be assigned to a drive without a disk in it made the problem go away.
